CONTEXT: Report from India the the manufacturers of the Covaxin, Bharat Biotech will be conducting “Phase-4 clinical trials” to check it’s real-world effectiveness. It is probably worth noting that they haven’t actually completed the Phase-3 studies yet, but have administered several million doses since January of 2021. There is a certain amount of controversy surrounding the vaccine’s efficacy with calls for the phase 3 data to made public as soon as possible.
